Latin
Overview
The study of the Latin language is foundational for understanding the classical, medieval, and early modern periods. In addition, knowledge of Latin is valuable for better understanding the romance languages as well as the English language. At New College, students can pursue a Joint Area of Concentration (AOC) in Latin, pairing it with any other AOC offered in the curriculum.
